​PAC Dolphins Swimming was established to promote each swimmer’s ability, general physical development, individual self discipline, concept of team loyalty, cooperation, and a spirit of good sportsmanship.
Common Tryout Questions
  • A tryout takes 15-20 minutes.
  • Please bring a swimsuit.
  • Sign in at the front desk. (Pocahontas location)
  • Find a PAC coach on the deck.
​Sometimes people feel their kids are not ready for swim team. The beginning group is called the Starfish. This group is a modified swim lesson program for kids. It bridges the gap between beginning swim skills and begin to swim team. Many of the members of the Starfish group are between the ages of 6-9 years old.

We offer a flexible practice schedule and continue to be the most affordable swim team in North East Arkansas. The coaching staff has an extensive background in aquatics, learn to swim, water safety, and swim coaching.
​Skills Assessment
Tryouts or a skills ability swim test will be held for new swimmers.  Demonstrated skills include but are not limited to: 
  • Swim one length of the pool unassisted. (1/2 of pool for 8&Unders)
  • Does not have to be a specific stroke. 
  • Be comfortable going underwater and holding their breathe. 
  • Listen and follow directions well. 
  • Other skills are determined by the coaching staff.
​Practice Schedule
It is not mandatory that every practice be attended. Granted swimmers usually improve quicker when they are.

Swim Meet Schedule
  • ​It is not mandatory that you attend swim meets. We do ask that you attend home meets & meets nearby.
