The Red Cross Babysitting Basics class is designed primarily for youth ages 9-14, this course will prepare students to be better babysitters.
Topics include;
Students will also learn the basics of starting a babysitting business. The course consists activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business.
This course, which includes a final exam at the end. Students who successfully complete the course will receive an emailed certificate.

- How to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe;
- What to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities
- How to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors.

- Must have 5 registered for class to make
- Please remember to wear comfortable clothes, bring a bottled water, and a snack.
- This class is hands on and they will be learning and demonstrating first aid skills.
- A t-shirt, shorts, and jacket or hoodie are the suggested attire to be more comfortable.
