Entry Deadline: 
  • Entries must be submitted no later than midnight on Monday, October 31, 2022. 
  • Each team must submit a roster list of AAU #'s with their entries. 
  • Deck entries will NOT be accepted.
  • Please note that the earlier deadline allows the host team to verify the entries.
  • Confirmation, with a proof sheet of your entries, will be sent as soon as possible. 
  • A psych sheet will be sent to coaches within 48/72 hours. 
  • Coaches will have 24 hours for CORRECTIONS on the psych sheet. 
  • No new athletes may be entered after the Monday deadline.​
 
Entry Limit: 
  • Each swimmer may swim a maximum of five (5) individual events each day and one (1) relay each day.
  • Bonus events - Are the 400 free, 400 IM, Mile.
  • Bonus events - DO NOT count towards event limits for each day.
  • Bonus events - Will not be scored or awarded medals or ribbons.
  • Bonus events - DO NOT have a fee.
  • Bonus events - Are limited to two heats. 
 
​Meet fees:​
$5.00 per individual events.
$12.00 per relay.
$10.00 Facility fee that will includes a heat sheet for each swimmer.
 
*An itemized bill will be sent to your team based on your entries.  No refunds. 
 
Date & Start Time:  One Session each day
November 5th @ 10:30am - Meet start time
November 6th @ 10:30am - Meet start time
MILE will be offered at the conclusion of the events on 11/6/22. Positive check-in required. 

Age Divisions:  Individual events will 8 & Under, 9-10 years, 11-12 years, 13-14 years, and 15-18 years.  Relays will be OPEN. 

We are requesting that swimmers be aged up per their age on July 27th, 2023. This will ensure that they are qualifying in the correct age group for AAU Junior Olympic Games 2023 in Des Moines, IA.

If you choose not to age up to 7/27/23 - A swimmer’s age as of November 5th, 2022 shall determine their age division, unless they have declared otherwise.

Events:  All events will be TIMED FINALS.  Submit swimmer’s best SHORT COURSE METER times to ensure proper seeding.  This meet will be pre-seeded.  We may combine some events due to number of entries and open lanes. 

Results:  Will be posted in the pool lobby throughout the day. Meet Mobile will be utilized.

Warm-up Times:  Warm up times will be sent out after entries are received.

Pro-Shop: Will be setup at the meet with suits, jammers, goggles, caps, etc.

  • Lesmeister Guest House ($130+) Period Boutique Hotel located in downtown Pocahontas. Very Nice!
  • Rock & Roll Highway 67 Inn in Pocahontas ($ 60+)
  • Shady River Cabins ($130+) Quiet Cabins on Eleven Point River a few minutes outside of Pocahontas
  • The Hotel Rhea ($100+) Historic Boutique Hotel located in Walnut Ridge, AR – 15 min. drive
  • Lake Charles State Park – includes Campgrounds, RV, cabin, and Yurt rentals. ($20-75+) – 30 min. drive
  • Davidsonville State park – includes Campgrounds ($12-35) – 20 minute drive
  • Jonesboro is 45 minutes away and offers everything from Super 8 to the Hilton. 
  • Riverside Camp Ground in Pocahontas - Tent & RV camping
  • There are additional locations available on VRBO and ARBNB.

Entry Information
Swimmers who have achieved a BB time standard in SCY, SCM, or LCM in events that are 100 or less distance and swimmers that have achieved an A time in SC or LCM in 200 or more distance must swim those events as an exhibition. Time standards are from the USA motivational time standards.  

Swimmers age as of November 5th, 2022 will determine their age group for the meet. Swimmers cannot swim in more than one age group. 

If a swimmer should age up between November 5, 2022 and July 27, 2023; a swimmer may choose to swim up an age group in order to qualify for the AAU Junior Olympic Games in those events.  

*ALL PAC Dolphins swimmers will be aged up for this meet. 

NOTE: Coaches if a swimmer is competing up an age group please alter the entry file you submit. There have been instances in the past where this was not done. It caused confusion, disappointment, and additional issues at the meet. 

Qualification for the AAU Junior Olympic Games:
First, Second, and Third place finishers in AAU Club or District Championship Meets for individual events under 400M will qualify in those events. In addition, swimmers who meet or beat the U.S. Swimming Long Course “A” minimum time standards for all 200M, 400M and 1500M events and “BB” time standards for events less than 200M are eligible to compete in the events where they meet the minimum time standards. ****Qualification for the 400M and 1500M is time only.**** 

Scoring/Award Information:
AWARDS WILL BE HANDED OUT AT THE END OF EACH SESSION

• Individual Events
1st -3rd place will receive an AAU Medals; 4th – 8th place will receive a ribbon.  

• Relay Events 
1st – 3rd place will receive an AAU Medals; 4th – 8th place will receive a ribbon.  

• High Point Awards will be given to: 1st place Individual Boy and Girl for each Age Division
(8-Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 & 15-18)  

• Team Trophies 1st – 3rd place Teams with High Points (Combined Boys and Girls Score) 

Session Schedule:  Schedule has been condensed to allow for travel on Saturday morning.
