Mountain Home ~ June 18, 2022

Mountain Home
June 18, 2022

Mountain Home - Outdoor 8 lane pool (25 meter)
1101 Spring Street
Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653

  • Please be at the pool by 8am.
  • Review the parking map at the bottom of this page.
  • Purchase your heat sheets on the pool deck and write your Events/Heats/Lanes on swimmers before warmups.
  • The meet begins 15 minutes after our warmups. We are going to be crunched for time to get the relays together.

Warm-Up
Pocahontas 8:25-8:45 in lanes 1-4

Tips - Mountain Home meet
  • Add 20 extra minutes to your drive time.
  • There are foggy patches along the drive in the morning.
  • You will probably get behind a few RV's or Boats getting pulled to the lake.
  • Baby wipes are handy for outdoor meets.
  • A roll of TP in a plastic bag is helpful.
  • Bring a trash bag for your tent.
  • A yoga mat on the ground is a great place for kids to hang out, easier to transport than a bunch of chairs, and dries quicker than a towel.
  • Sunscreen!
  • Bottled water and hydrating snacks.
  • Mountain Home has a Pro-Shop with different brands than we have. It is definitely a must check out!
  • DO NOT park in the grass or bring glass bottles to the swim meet.

Mountain Home is in the process of building an indoor facility larger than the one in Pocahontas. The current Mountain Home pool is one of Coach Anna's favorite places to swim in the summer.

Tips -
  • Book hotels as early as possible.
  • If you plan on driving up that morning, add about 30 minutes to your timeline. It is usually a foggy drive and you will get behind vehicles hauling boats to the lake.
  • Don't forget sunscreen, coolers, and your tent.
  • This is a true outdoor pool.
  • Checkout the parking map at the end of this page.
