2025 AAU Arkansas Swimming Scholarship Information and Qualifications
In 2010 the Arkansas District Executive Committee approved this annual scholarship program to assist High School Seniors with their college expenses. The amount of the scholarship is for $1,000 and is given to an athlete.
In order to receive the Swimming Scholarship, applicants must send a complete application package postmarked no later than June 9th, 2025.
Qualifications for Application Applicant must:
Have participated in an AAU Swimming program for a minimum of 1 year.
Reside in the state of Arkansas
Graduate from a public or private secondary school by June 2025;
Provide evidence of admission to a post-secondary college or university, including, but not limited to, a junior or community college, in the United States or a United States territory, as well as acceptance of that admission;
Complete and submit application along with two adult recommendations by the set deadline;
Not be a scholarshiped student athlete.
Specifically, applicant is not eligible for this scholarship if: ***applicant has been issued a National Letter of Intent or has received an institution's written offer of athletic-related financial aid.
Submitting Scholarship Application Package
Your application package must include:
One (1) completed application form along with any additional pages;
Photocopy or other proof of admission and acceptance to a post-secondary college or university, including, but not limited to, a junior or community college, in the United States or a United States territory; and
Two completed recommendation forms.

Timeline
Completed Application package must be received no later than June 9, 2025
June 10 – June 13 – Application Processing and AAU Committee Review
June 16 – Scholarship Recipient Notified
June 28 – Scholarship Recipient Recognized on deck during the Arkansas AAU State Meet.
The Recipient will be strongly encouraged to be present at the State Meet to receive the scholarship.
